The quadruple room at The Leaping Salmon was absolutely amazing! It had a private entrance, which made it feel like our own little getaway. The soundproof walls ensured a peaceful night's sleep, and the parquet floors added a touch of elegance. Plus, the river views were simply breathtaking!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the electric kettle in the room. But hey, that's just me!

A garden to admire flowers I can't name, and free WiFi to reject social interaction. The nearest airport was delightfully far, giving me a sense of seclusion. Dartmoor and Tamar Valley were so beautiful, I almost forgot how much I hate nature.

The food was delicious and nicely presented, and we enjoyed chatting with the locals who gave us great advice on exploring the area.

One small downside was that the pillows were too soft for our liking, but we could have easily asked for firmer ones. Another slight inconvenience was that we were not informed about the pub being closed on Sunday nights, which was unhelpful considering the location.

The staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome. Chef Ben prepared a jaw-dropping breakfast. We absolutely loved this hidden gem! Free wi-fi, free parking, bar/lounge, restaurant, electric kettle. No smoking on-site.
