It was just a good match for a temporary stay in Yelverton with great value for the money. The room was decent for the price, though I really wished there was a mirror in the bedroom. Make sure to check dining options in advance as nearby pubs may not be open at all times.

I stayed in a Deluxe King Room for 2 nights, enjoying the stunning view of the river and the comfort of the bed. The breakfast selection was excellent, offering a variety of options. I found the absence of a TV in the room unusual and the noise from the pub below was noticeable at times. It’s a solid choice for a peaceful getaway, but consider potential noise if you're sensitive to it.

Perfect for families looking for a good stay
The breakfast was excellent , Chef Ben really knew what he was doing. Also the staff were very kind and made us feel welcome even with a busy evening, that kind of personal touch is rare.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the quality, I felt it was still reasonable.

Nice view of the river from the bedroom adds an appealing backdrop to your stay. The setup of the rooms above the pub provides a unique atmosphere that gives you a taste of local life.
Expect basic room comforts despite the price tag. not much in the way of cozy seating, which would have been nice. The opening hours of the pub can be a letdown since it's closed Sunday to Thursday, and the nearby pub might not be your backup if they also decide to shut down. The external stairs require caution, especially for those who prefer a quieter, safer passageway.

Our Deluxe King Room had hardwood floors and a great seating area with river views. The private bathroom was well-equipped with a shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was top-notch with a full English option and fresh juice. The staff were super helpful, particularly with local tips. Spotless all around, we felt right at home.

Comfy and chill spot
Had a solid stay in a deluxe king room. It was super clean and comfy. Easy to check in. The bar downstairs had a great vibe for a quick drink but didn’t serve food late, which was a bummer. a nice place for a night alone to unwind!
